Finding Our Voices and
Sharing Our Stories As president of Providence College's Photography Club, I ran a photo-journalistic social media project modeled after Humans of New York in which we paired images of PC students, faculty, staff, and Providence community members with their stories of identity. The project culminated in the HOPC Portrait Showcase currently displayed in the Slavin Center Mural Lounge on the Providence College campus. By giving voices to the faces we see everyday, HOPC strives to showcase the value of each and every individual, bring campus and community members closer together, and reveal just how much we all have in common. |
Community LensPhotography & Social Change
Digital Storytelling Fall 2017 Providence College interdisciplinary course focused on using photography to understand & build communities and exploring how art can help youth tell their stories & make social change. Service-learning projects with CityArts¡ and Mount Pleasant Library in which we taught photography, built relationships, and served as mentors to Providence youth culminated in the Nature of Community Photo Exhibition. |
